Indaco Alys Beach: Hours, Menu and Afternoon Dining

October 8, 2026

Indaco opened on July 2 at 40 Mark Twain Lane, Suite 101, and coverage has focused on the menu. The pasta is worth talking about, but Indaco changed something else in Alys Beach. It serves food without a break from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day of the week. In a Town Center where several kitchens pause in mid-afternoon, that matters. It will matter more this winter, when the restaurant at Caliza, the owners' pool club, posts a three-month closure.

Two rooms from one group, both serving at 4 p.m.

Indaco comes from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, which also runs O-Ku in Alys Beach. VIE's September 2026 feature describes Indaco as sitting right beside O-Ku, which opened in 2024. Indaco didn't replace its sister restaurant. O-Ku keeps its own address at 27 Admiralty Row, R102, and still serves sushi, sashimi, and nigiri.

The executive chef, Dakota Watson, has cooked on this coast before. His official bio lists Nonna's and Cuvee 30A. The concept is regional Italian cooking adapted to the Emerald Coast. That means handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza, seafood, and plates meant for sharing. The current menu has snapper tartare and crispy arancini with crab salad to start. There are pizzas topped with lamb or peach, plus shrimp bucatini and a spaghetti made with a whole lobster.

The two schedules overlap. O-Ku opens at 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday, closing at 10 p.m. every night. Indaco starts dinner at 4 p.m. daily and also closes at 10 p.m. On a weeknight, Town Center now has a sushi bar and an Italian dining room next door to each other, both seating from 4 p.m.

The 3-to-5 window, by kitchen

Indaco's schedule fits the rest of Town Center most clearly in mid-afternoon. George's at 30 Castle Harbour Drive posts lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. The Citizen at 20 Mark Twain Lane runs a daily oyster happy hour from 2 to 5 p.m. before dinner starts at 5. Indaco covers the same stretch with an aperitivo hour from 2:30 to 4 p.m. that runs straight into dinner.

Kitchen Daytime service Afternoon Dinner
Indaco Lunch Mon–Fri, brunch Sat–Sun, 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Aperitivo daily, 2:30–4 p.m. Daily, 4–10 p.m.
The Citizen Lunch and brunch Wed–Sun, 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m. Oyster happy hour daily, 2–5 p.m. Daily, 5–10 p.m.
George's Lunch, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. No posted service 5–9 p.m.
O-Ku Opens 11 a.m. Fri–Sun Opens 4 p.m. Mon–Thu Closes 10 p.m. nightly
Raw & Juicy Breakfast, lunch, light bites daily, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Continues to 5 p.m. Wed–Sun, 5–9 p.m.

Two smaller spots fill in around these hours. Charlie's Delights at 67 North Somerset Street, R102, is listed in the Alys Beach merchant directory as open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. It sells donuts, pastries, and ice cream. Fonville Press Market & Café lists daily hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with dinner from 3 p.m. That page dates from May 2025, so check its fall hours by phone.

Early in the week the options narrow. Raw & Juicy serves dinner Wednesday through Sunday, and The Citizen's lunch and brunch run on the same five days. On a Monday or Tuesday afternoon, Indaco is one of the few full kitchens in Town Center serving straight through.

Why the winter calendar raises the stakes

Alys Beach dining has two tiers. Some amenities serve only owners and vacation-rental guests. The town describes The Silva as a private amenity for homeowners and rental guests, with an open-air restaurant and bar serving Southern-inspired food. ZUMA, the private wellness amenity, has a café with smoothies, coffee, and grab-and-go snacks. The Beach Club offers Gulf-front dining for homeowners only. None of those pages posts winter restaurant hours.

Caliza does post its hours. Its page at alysbeach.com lists the pool deck as open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and drinks until 6 p.m. Below that, it reads "Restaurant Services Closed: Dec 1 – March 1." No year is printed, so call Caliza at 850-213-5700 to confirm the dates for this coming winter. Taken as posted, the owner-side lunch spot goes dark for three months, and the public Town Center kitchens carry more of the daytime meals.

The public restaurants are already switching to their cold-weather menus. George's has fall/winter lunch and dinner menus on its menu pages, though its homepage still links the spring/summer versions. Indaco is new enough that this will be its first winter. Its posted schedule shows no seasonal cutback, and hours on the coast can change after Thanksgiving. The daily 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. span holds as of its current posting.

Getting a table

Indaco takes reservations through OpenTable. Neither the restaurant's pages nor its OpenTable listing says whether walk-ins are accepted or reservations required. For a same-day table, call (850) 641-0225 or email [email protected].

The Citizen spells out its policy. It holds a limited number of reservations on Resy and seats walk-ins at the bar, the raw bar, and outdoor tables. Groups of eight or more are asked to contact the restaurant directly. Its oyster happy hour overlaps Indaco's aperitivo, so between 2:30 and 4 p.m. both Mark Twain Lane addresses are serving, and The Citizen's bar and raw bar take walk-ins.

The November week when the whole town is booked

Alys Beach Crafted runs November 11 through 15, 2026, at venues around town. According to 30A.com's fall calendar, Wednesday opens with a 30A Songwriters Session at the Red Loggia at Caliza, and Thursday has three Experiential Dinners pairing visiting chefs with cocktails, spirits, or wine. Friday brings the Holiday Makers Market, a Cocktails & Clay workshop, and the 6th Annual Firkin Fête. On Saturday, the Spirited Soirée takes over the North Sea Garden Walk.

Most Crafted events are ticketed, and several have limited capacity. The Holiday Makers Market is free and stays open through Sunday at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre, with regional artisans, live music, and photos with Santa. Proceeds go to the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. That week will fill the restaurants as well as the event venues. If you want a quiet dinner at Indaco or The Citizen during Crafted, book before the market opens on Friday.

Whether you own in Alys Beach or are thinking about it, part of the decision is knowing which tables stay open in January and which ones are for members only. Andre Dominick & Theresa Felton can walk you through how the amenity calendar and Town Center fit together in each season. Let's Talk.
